Terms and Conditions
Enrollment in the Executive Academy, offered by Happiness Business School, constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which govern participation in the program and create binding legal obligations between the parties.
1. The Executive Academy is a continuous professional development program designed for executives, leaders, and professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in organisational happiness management and workplace well-being. The program includes the following components: Monthly online conferences; Mentoring sessions, scheduled by mutual agreement between the participants and the Happiness Business School team, according to both parties’ availability; Access to a structured digital content platform, organised around strategic pillars, offering practical materials updated annually and directly applicable to professional contexts.
2. This agreement is valid for a period of twelve (12) months, commencing on October 1, 2025. It shall be automatically renewed for successive periods of equal duration, unless either party notifies the other in writing of its intention not to renew, with at least thirty (30) days’ prior notice before the end of the current term.In the event of renewal, the terms and conditions, including the financial terms, may be reviewed, with any changes communicated to the participant in advance.
3. Access to the platform and all associated resources is personal, non-transferable, and exclusive to the registered participant. Credential sharing with third parties is strictly prohibited. Any violation may result in the immediate suspension or termination of access, without prejudice to any applicable legal actions. Happiness Business School reserves the right to limit, suspend, or terminate a participant's access in the event of: Improper or abusive use of the platform or its contents; violation of these Terms and Conditions; Conduct that is inconsistent with the institutional values and principles of Happiness Business School.
4. Happiness Business School undertakes to: Provide timely and functional access to conferences, mentoring sessions, and the digital platform, as described herein; Notify participants in advance of any significant changes to the program structure, schedule, or content; Provide appropriate technical and pedagogical support throughout the duration of the program; Ensure the quality, relevance, and periodic updating of all content made available.
5. The participant agrees to: Fulfill all financial obligations punctually and in full, according to the terms agreed upon at enrollment; Maintain ethical, professional, and respectful behavior during conferences, mentoring sessions, and all program-related interactions; Use the materials and resources provided solely for personal and professional development purposes, in accordance with Happiness Business School’s usage policies; Not reproduce, disclose, or share any content without prior written authorization from Happiness Business School.
6. The enrollment fee for the Executive Academy is €750 (seven hundred and fifty euros) + VAT at the applicable legal rate, per participant. This amount may be adjusted according to the selected corporate package or other commercial terms previously agreed upon between Happiness Business School and the contracting entity, as set forth in a separate agreement or contractual addendum.
7. In case of cancellation before the start of the program, the following refund conditions apply: cancellations made up to 20 business days before the start date will result in a refund of 80% of the total program fee; cancellations made between 20 and 10 business days prior to the start date will result in a refund of 50% of the total program fee; cancellations made less than 10 business days before the start date will not be eligible for a refund.
8. After the start of the program, the participant may terminate their participation at any time, by providing written notice at least thirty (30) days in advance of the intended termination date; no refunds will be granted for any amounts already paid, regardless of whether the program was used in whole or in part. Happiness Business School may terminate the agreement with fifteen (15) days’ prior written notice in the event of a contractual breach by the participant, particularly regarding payment obligations, inappropriate conduct, or unauthorized use of the platform or its contents.
9. Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all information shared during mentoring sessions or in the course of participation in the program, including personal, strategic, or business-related data. This obligation of confidentiality shall remain in force even after the termination of the contract.
10. All content provided within the scope of the Executive Academy — including, but not limited to, videos, presentations, documents, methodologies, and tools—remains the exclusive intellectual property of Happiness Business School, and is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. The reproduction, distribution, modification, or use of said content for commercial or external educational purposes is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of Happiness Business School.
11. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties, superseding all prior oral or written communications; Any amendments or modifications to these Terms and Conditions shall be valid only if made in writing and signed by both parties; For the resolution of any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this contract, the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oeiras, Portugal, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction, no matter how privileged it may be.
