NP 4590:2023 is the Portuguese standard that defines the requirements for implementing an Organisational Wellbeing and Happiness Management System, published by the Portuguese Institute for Quality (IPQ). This standard positions wellbeing not as a set of isolated initiatives, but as a transversal management system within the organisation — at the same level as quality, environmental, and safety management — integrating policies, processes, indicators, and continuous improvement.
